Why We Never Give Up on Losing Weight

When Mike and I were just starting with our weight loss journey, some of our friends scoffed at us and assumed that we will lose footing along the way. Although there were times when we just wanted to give up, something always puts us right back on track.

It's our love for us. Mike taught me the importance of self-worth. Through him, I realized that every battle in life is worth fighting for. Whether it is reaching another milestone in our journey to losing weight or learning a new hobby, Mike has never once let go of my hands.

I won't be a hypocrite and say there is a quick losing weight journey. In fact, I always remark that even if I cheat myself, there would be no way this would be easy for me.

Having the Determination

I don't only do this for myself. I do this for Mike and our future children. It helps a lot that there is that inspiration because it allows me to strive hard for the goal of being healthy and fit.

Whenever I start to retreat, I simply remind myself of what goals Mike and I have, of what we're planning for the future. Surely, I don't want my kids to grow up with an unhealthy mommy or daddy. Mike has always been a rock but most of the time, our own enemy is we ourselves. We have to fight against it.

Looking Far Ahead

My family is not exactly known for being healthy eaters, and that's why we also had weight and health problems. I lost some of my loved ones to illnesses that involved our unhealthy lifestyles. I don't want my family to suffer through the same thing I did back then.

The future and what lies in store are the things keeping me in the weight loss program I'm in right now. It's fairly easy to fight against insecurities and doubts when you know what you're working hard for.

So, my only advice for people who are struggling to stick to their diet plans is to look deep within themselves and find the reason not to give up. However, don't try to be fit and healthy for the sake of others only, do it for yourself too.

There's really no secret formula or perfect chemistry to losing weight. What we have in us are the reasons to keep moving on. Tune in to that and you'll never lose your place again.

Successfully Losing Weight Together Through the Help of Skinny Shake

Do you know how many diet programs and juices are out there in the market? Thousands? Millions? Okay, that last one was a bit of an exaggeration, although that's exactly how I feel every time I visit my local supermarket or health food shop.

I'm really picky when it comes to my food because I don't ever want to go back to my initial health and weight problems. I research endlessly about the things I'll be subjecting my body into. If there's one great thing I learned from Mike, it's that.

We have varying body types, and they need different nutrients. That only means that one diet program may work for me, but it won't necessarily work on Mike too.

Making an Impact

The skinny shake is different in such a way that it fits all body types and their various needs when it comes to losing weight. I first tried this shake a couple of weeks ago when my friend suggested it to me, and bought a couple of bottles from skinnyshake.net.

At first, I was hesitant to try it because I have been duped over and over again by diet pills, diet programs and diet juices. I've lost my confidence in preserved diet food and instead, prefer working out or preparing our meals myself.

The skinny shake is different, though, because it doesn't taste like other juices with mixtures of vegetables and fruits thrown into a blender. Those who made it actually took the time to understand what tastes good and what doesn't. Thank you, right?

However, aside from that, the shake uses very low sugar content. I may not have problems with my sugar level, but I worry about juices that are too sweet for my liking. This SKINNY Shake is surprisingly just right for my taste buds. It uses all-natural ingredients from select fruits and vegetables.

This program recommends substituting two out of the five required meals in a day with a skinny shake.

Now, I know that it sounds hard to substitute juice or shake for one complete meal but trust me, Mike consistently drank this shake, and he never ever felt hungry. In fact, even while losing weight, the skinny shake provides the proper nutrients your body needs.

You may start with incorporating it into your meals and then slowly replace your everyday meals with a bottle or two. Remember not to shock your body into losing a full meal and supplementing it with a bottle of this shake. You have to do it slowly, and allow your body to adjust.

Losing Weight Together

There was a news story when we were still in college about a husband who divorced his wife because she was gaining too much weight. That struck me hard because I was already having insecurities with my weight problems that time. So, I embarked together with my then boyfriend, Mike, into a journey of losing weight.

At first, we didn't have any knowledge about how to lose weight in a healthy way. I started on a crash diet. I refused to eat lunch and dinner, only having crackers and water for days because I was so afraid to gain weight. I also took some diet pills, believing these will help me with my problems. Finally, Mike came into the picture and explained to me what I was doing wrong.

The best thing that happened to me aside from having Mike in my life is listening to him once and for all. Although he had the same weight problems that I had back then, he was losing weight the right way. Unlike me.

Why a Blog?

We both decided to start this blog because we wanted to help other couples who are facing the same problems we had. For those who think that losing weight as an individual is harder than doing it as a couple, you’re dead wrong. Losing weight with your partner is more difficult than doing this individually because there’s another person whose problems you have to take into account.

For married couples, losing weight is a team work. You have to know as a couple what your other partner wants and needs. Even though you work as a team, your weight struggles will react to different triggers and diet programs. You must define what you need and what your partner needs and then, find a connection wherein you can work together.

Hopefully, this blog will do that for a lot of couples who are suffering from weight problems. Mike and I are far from perfect, and we are not done yet with our weight struggles though there has been a big improvement already with our issues. However, we still want to lend a helping hand to those who may be going through what we are going through.

Whether you are just beginning to lose weight as a couple or you’re halfway there, everybody needs help, right? I, for one, need to learn from other couples who went through the same things we did, or who are going through these things with us.
